Quick updates & I'm on Intro

Hey there, hope you are doing well! Sorry it’s been a minute….or 4 months to be more specific. A lot has been going on behind the scenes in a short amount of time. Here’s the TL;DR:

1. I started doing a lot of work with Runzy. We’ve purchased a few companies and are rolling them up into one product with three components: Media company, Race registration platform, & coaching product for runners. It’s been super fun and a good challenge to pull this off, where we’re looking at multiple business models feeding into each other in one main company.

2. I’m doing select fractional work with startups on an advisor basis and have been helping a couple companies work through tricky challenges.

3. I recently got invited to be a guest on Intro.co. This is exciting, as I’m constantly being asked to help founders with tricky issues around growth, product, fundraising, and more. To date I have generally declined doing any 1:1 work outside of the free mentoring I do on Growth Mentor. However, today I announced on LinkedIn that I’m opening up some (not free) 1:1 slots to chat.

I can’t say that I missed not being more active on social media the last couple of months, and I needed the time to go heads down into work as well as taking some much needed down time.

But, I decided that rather than trying to play to the algorithm gods, I’m going to just write and post when thoughts come to me and not try to stick to a schedule. With that, I’m back to creating new content, and will be sharing more soon. And if there is anything in particular you’d like me to write about just let me know.
